Welcome to Melbourne..

We arrived into Melbourne only to bump into Sandy & Trish at the airport, thanks for picking us up, we really appreciate it! =) Its been really good meeting up with sandy and trish again, not only because weve had our very own tour guides on hand again ;) Weve finally got to meet Freddy aswell! He is a little cutey even tho he has a fixation of sticking his bum in your face! =)

We got a nice hotel again, the radisson not quite as nice as some of the other hotels weve stopped in, but with a business class room upgrade the pain was eased ;) thanks Trailfinders!

Melbourne has been great, weve been for a few meals with sandy & trish, a couple of nice italians and a lovely thai meal. Yesturday they took us around the Melbourne zoo, which was great, i loved the reptile section, lynsey managed to get a glimpse of the Platapus, for just half a milli second ;) It was happily swimming around until we turned up, then it got shy n hid for the rest of the time.

Good news, i managed to retrieve 3 hours of my life yesturday, as there wasnt any space left on the "Neighbours" tour ;) Lynsey was gutted, i was amused.

We visited Phillip island the other day, which was mental. Really nice coastlines all around, with numerous stops around to view a whole host of different animals. The best bit being sitting on the beach to watch the lickle penguins running from the sea to there homes. So funny watching them appear out of the water, then getting scared and pelting back to the safety of the sea. After a few attempts they got the courage up to run, well i say run, more of a waddle, out of the sea and accross the sand to there burrows.

Off to Sydney tmw, so we now need to pack again, badgers!
