Christmas day night, but not as we know it...

Another first for christmas day, a posh restaurant for our Christmas meal. Yup, I had to wear a suit, makes a change for xmas day eh mr hayes ;) Lynsey was also dressed up nicely to compliment my new xmas image, but then she always looks good.

We arrived at the Summit restaurant (huuuge tall circular building) at about 6pm then moved up to the 47th at light speed (never been in a lift that moves so quick!) The seating area of the restaurant was all around the outside edge, which moved around 360 degrees reallllllly slowly. It took nearly 1.5 hours to do a complete rotation, but any quicker would of been an issue for eating no doubt ;)

The food was really nice, even tho it was pucka "posh Styli". 16 Foot square plates with a P surrounded by a drissle of dressing ;) Seriously it wasnt quite that small but you get the jist. It was 5 courses plus mince pies for desert. It was actually very nice, we both choose the tradional Turkey option.

After several corona's, a few glasses of red wine, 5 courses, a couple of coffee's & a full rotation =) we left the summit resturant & returned to a bar to meet up with a couple of friends from our hotel.
