The 3 Month Trip Summary

As weve nearly been travelling for 3 months now and are virtually half way through our epic journey, here's a miss, dont miss, best, worst bit summary =)

Best Bit(s)

Its a tough one, both were amazing - Walking the Great Wall of China & Scuba Diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Honourable mentions - Meeting everyone on the China tour, James bond Island in phuket & Spending every second of the day for the last 3 months with lyns ;)

Worst bit(s)

Other than leaving my car in a lonely corner of a field in yorkshire ;) , not really a worst bit but most disappointing was the Emerald Budda in Thailand - Compared to china's budda's - it was so bloody small =) & leaving China - love that place...

Miss List

I've missed my family, especially my daily chats with my mum / having dave visit us nearly every other weekend.

Dont Miss List

Cleaning the house / planning and cooking the tea nearly every night, then washing up/ washing clothes only to find the basket magically full again.

Best Bit(s)

Scuba Diving, i just wish i had had the opportunity and the guts to do it before i was 30! If i had i would have probably been a diving freak building my holidays around diving, which would also have meant that i could have dived properly @ the great barrier reef.

The great wall was another highlight, i still i have to pinch myself when i think about it cause all these years i've seen footage of it and how big it is now i've actually walked it myself !

I think there have been lots of those pinch myself moments during the travelling so far, you see all these place on TV, i watch a lot of discovery programs - a lot more than matt, and i have actually been to or are going to some of the places i've seen but never dreamed i would go. I would say thats the same with the animals, i've been so close to a baby seal i could have put my hand out and touch it(you dont of course cause your not allowed) i've seen little penguins return home after spending the day feeding in the sea.

Having amazing experiences and sharing them with my hubby.

Leaving our new friends when we left china / i thought i would have also said squat toilets but by the end they wern't that bad! / Not going on the Neighbours Tour !!! really really gutted it was fully booked - although matt was exstatic =(
