Ocean Extreme Syndey Harbour Styli...

Today we decided to take a lickle boat trip around the Sydney harbour, under the bridge & past the opera house, to have a look around. Instead of a slow cruise boat we chose "Ocean Extreme" ;)
Ocean Extreme is a 7.3 metre Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) powered by twin 200HP V6 Mercury outboard engines which have the ability to propel it to speeds in excess of 100km/hour! Its actually used by Navy Seals & costs about 150K!
It moved stupidly quick on the flat open water out of the harbour. Once we had hit some small swells & wakes from other boats it was leaping out of the water at 100Km/h. Thankfully on every touch down the crown jewels were intact! Yet the driver acknoledged that they would "drop down again within 3 days" if any "Accidents occured" ! ;) We spent 40 minutes out of the harbour leaping around & generally moving quicker than an inflatable ever should!, Navy seal boat or not!! For some unknown reason lynsey managed to get off the boat bone dry, whilst on my side of the boat - i got absolutely paggered with water, typical!
After the sedate boat trip had finished we walked back to the hotel, so i could dry off. We then picked up our bags and sorted a taxi to our next & final hotel in australia. 4th Jan were off to New Zeland!.
After surviving China for a month travelling around the place in taxi's (Really mental with absolutely no rules whatsoever!) It came somewhat of a surprise to me today when an australian taxi driver decided to attempt to break the 0-60mph world record with me half in the taxi & half out of it.
