Anyone for an Ice Cube...

Whilst visiting the Glacier lake, we were able to break off chunks of ice to eat, pure as anything youve ever seen. These pieces of Ice were from icebergs 400 years old, as thats how long it takes to get to the lake at the bottom, from the top of the glacier. Sweet as...

On the way to Mt Cook, we stopped next to a nuttily green coloured lake for a pic....

The glacier lake was really strange. It was filled with icebergs of every shape & colour. Some were what you would think as a traditional iceberg, all white etc, but the majority were covered with dust, rubble & some huuuuge boulders! The pic above shows the difference between the two. Yup, that one in the background with the huge rock is actually a floating iceberg aswell!!!
